Steps to Get Started

Step 1: Share Your Vision

Use the form below to tell us what you want to vend with us. Include links and images to help us determine how your art will blend with our machines.

Step 2: Package a Sample

Create a sample of your item using the packaging guidelines below. We offer recommendations for low-cost and high-quality packaging solutions. Feel free to email us at confess@sinbinvending.com with any questions.

Step 3: Send Us Your Sample

Submit your sample to the address we provide you. We will ensure your sample vends properly in our machines.

Step 4: Stock and Sell

We'll place your work on our consideration list until space in our machines becomes available when previously stocked goods sell out or when new machines are launched. Our machines are carefully curated to offer a diverse range of products and prices that are tailored to fit each unique location. When space opens up, we will review all submissions. If your sample is selected, we’ll start with 10 - 20 units of your item, filling an entire selection.

Step 5: Get Paid

We work on consignment with 60% of every sale going to the artist and 40% to Sin Bin for operational costs. You will receive payment within 30 days of sale.

Packaging Guidelines

Our machines were originally designed to vend chip bags and candy bars. We refer to chip slots as “large” and candy bar slots as “small”. Below are dimensions for both slots and guidelines to follow.

Small Slot (Candy Bar)

Best Size: 2.25" w x 4.5" h

Vendable Range:

Width: 2" - 2.5"
Height: 4" - 5.5"
Depth: 0.5" - 1.5"

Large Slot (Chip Bag)

Best Size: 4.75" w x 5.5" h

Vendable Range:

Width: 4.5" - 5"
Height: 4" - 6"
Depth: 0.5" - 1.5"

Clear Labeling: Ensure your packaging has your info and product details. This is essential for making your art stand out and ensuring customers know where to find more of your work. Including a business card or insert with more information about you is strongly recommended.

Sturdy Packaging: Use mylar bags, shrink-wrap bags, or cellophane bags for packaging. You can use chipboard, cardboard, or sturdy cardstock for backing. This helps the item sit well in the coils and vend properly.

Proper Weight: Items should be heavy enough to fall straight down when dropped. For lightweight items, consider adding coins, candy, stickers, or business info to increase weight.

Smooth Sides: Ensure the package has smooth sides with no loose parts to avoid getting caught in the coils.

By submitting your artwork to Sin Bin, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Ownership and Copyright:
- You retain full ownership and copyright of your submitted artwork.
- By submitting your artwork, you grant Sin Bin a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display the artwork in our vending machines and promotional materials.
Display and Sale:
- Your artwork will be displayed in Sin Bin vending machines in various establishments.
- The artwork will be sold directly through these vending machines to customers.
- Sin Bin reserves the right to determine your artwork's final placement and display method within the machines.
Pricing and Payments:
- You and Sin Bin will mutually agree upon the selling price of your artwork before its display. This should be within a $5 - $25 range.
- Sin Bin will retain a commission of 40% from each sale. Artists will receive 60% of each item sold. The amount will be paid to you within 30 days of the sale.
- Payments will be made through your preferred payment method.
Duration and Removal:
- Your artwork will be displayed for one month, after which Sin Bin may choose to continue displaying it or return it to you.
- You may request the removal of your artwork from the vending machines with 15 days notice.
Care and Responsibility:
- Sin Bin will take reasonable care to protect and maintain your artwork while it is in our possession.
- Sin Bin is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs due to unforeseen circumstances or third-party actions.
Marketing and Promotion:
- By submitting your artwork, you consent to Sin Bin using images and descriptions of your work for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, website, and other marketing channels.
- You may be featured in our artist spotlights and promotional campaigns.
Termination:
- Either party may terminate this agreement with 15 days notice.
- Upon termination, Sin Bin will return any unsold artwork to you at no cost.
Agreement:
- By submitting your artwork, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
